Established in 2014, Alpha Omega Training Solutions is a New Jersey Firefighter Owned and Operated Small Business headquartered in Hunterdon County, NJ. Our service area includes all of New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania.
The mission of Alpha Omega Training Solutions (AOTS) is to achieve training excellence through superior educational opportunities in all aspects of emergency services with a minimum of barriers, to all motivated persons at the lowest possible cost to the student and public.
AOTS accomplishes its mission by delivering traditional and progressive curriculum, skills and ideas while following Local, State and Federal codes, standards and regulations and by staffing the most qualified, certified, professional and experienced Fire and Emergency Service Instructors.
Our Instructors maintain an active role in their respective response agencies to ensure their safety and improve the quality of life for those trained and the citizens that they protect.
David Wiklanski is a Firefighter/EMT with the New Brunswick Fire Department, currently assigned to the suppression section. He has nearly twenty years in Emergency Services. Firefighter Wiklanski is a highly known speaker and writer, most notably for his presentations on behavioral health, in addition to Suicide Terrorism. His mission is to end the stigma associated with mental health and to connect responders with the available resources to not only survive, but thrive in their careers.
His presentations have been followed at many seminars at the local, state and national levels, including: Firehouse Expo and Firehouse World. He has presented his course, Box Alarms for Behavioral Health at the National Fire Academy in Emmittsburg, MD.
He contributes articles to Fire Engineering and the Firehouse Tribune. His first book: Suicide Bombers, Understanding Suicide Terrorism from a Cultural and Memetic perspective is available online and he is currently working on authoring his next book.
David Wiklanski has a BA in Psychology from Kean University, and an MA in Behavioral Sciences-Human Behavior and Organizational Psychology from Kean University. He is on faculty at Kean University and Raritan Valley Community College where he regularly lectures on all aspects of Psychology. He holds certifications as a Fire Instructor II and EMT Instructor. He is also an NJ National Fallen Firefighters Foundation (NFFF) Advocate.
David Wiklanski resides in Hunterdon County, NJ with his wife Mary and two daughters, Samantha and Abigail. In his spare time, he enjoys SCUBA diving, shooting, and woodworking.
